Christmas Walk on the Champs-Elysées Avenue
Since November, the most beautiful Parisian avenue is filled with a special Christmas atmosphere. A short walk from the Clarion Collection Etoile Saint-Honoré hotel, the Champs-Elysées Avenue is celebrating the holiday season.
Discover the magic of Christmas on the Champs-Elysées Avenue with the Clarion Collection Etoile Saint-Honoré hotel and its enchanted walk.
Start your journey admiring the Christmas lights that illuminate the avenue. You will reach the avenue by taking the Rue Washington.
Champs-Elysées trees are decorated with special sparkling garlands raised 14 meters high. These facilities were inaugurated on November 21st, 2012 by German actress Diane Kruger and Paris City Mayor Bertrand Delanoe. The Champs-Elysées Avenue will be illuminated every day from 5Pmto 2AM, until January 10th, 2013.
Stroll along the avenue towards the Place de la Concorde. At the roundabout, you will discover one of the most famous tourist-attraction of Paris : the Christmas Market on the Champs Elysées.
Since 2008, 170 wooden chalets settle down between the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysées roundabout for the Christmas period. You will find crafts from all around the world and gastronomic specialties. You will also discover special attractions for children : the 5 Continents Icerink, a frozen skateway to go sledging, a go-kart track and a carousel. Santa Claus will also take off for them every day with his sleigh over the Christmas Village on the Champs-Elysées.
Down to the Place de la Concorde, you will admire the illuminated Paris Ferris Wheel. This is a great opportunity to have a look and enjoy a breathtaking view of Paris.

Paris Champs-Elysees Christmas Market
- From November 16th 2012 to January 6th 2013, from 12AM to 11PM (Sunday to Thursday) and 12AM to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
- Access: Champs-Elysées / Clemenceau metro
- The Christmas Market on the Champs-Elysées is 15 minutes walk from the Clarion Collection Etoile Saint-Honoré hotel.
